From March 28th until April 1st, the Trust’s mobile team hand delivered second-year kits (consisting of soccer balls, training jerseys, keepers gloves and shin guards) to 12 township teams around Cape Town. The experience was a moving and influential one, and not just for the kids…

The rush of adrenaline, raw emotion, and, most importantly, hope that shined from their faces as we unloaded their equipment from our trunk was unparalleled. Because, for at least another year, we had not only helped to develop a group of children physically but also to provide them with a positive distraction from the hardships, tragedies, and sometimes hostility of home life.
