After breakfast your local guide will collect you at your guesthouse for a half day introduction to ‘the Flats’. Start of with coffee, tea and traditional koesisters before diving deeper into the area and learning more about what happened during Apartheid and the complex years that followed.

Visit inspiring community upliftment initiatives and get swept away by the genuine enthusiasm of the Cape Flats. Enjoy a local lunch at a local family and get to know the people of the Flats on a more personal level before heading back to your accommodation.
